California Residents: Proposition 65 Warning
Absolutely love it! Did my homework and realized the kit from Ford Accessories, while indeed made by Putco, is lacking features. Specifically the ability to have amber or white. I love being able to change colors whenever I want! If I had to give one gripe, it would be about the design of the piggyback fuse setup. The lid for the fuse box cannot fully close with the piggyback harness installed. It’d be nice if there was a way to engineer that to be a cleaner fit. I suppose I could just go straight to an auxiliary switch, but that’s why I didn’t get the Ford Accessories version in the first place! Oh well, it’s still a great kit and only took about 30-45 minutes to install! FYI folks, you don’t need to remove the lower lip or either of the front side fenders. You’re welcome. 🙂
It looks amazing!! The instructions were a little vague but once I figured it out, it was super easy to install. I love it! All my friends with Bronco’s are going to purchase this as well now. 🙂
After buying the wrong set…Oracle, I discovered PUTCO. Much happier with the daytime lights…Are the lights able to be switched from amber to white after instillation?
I always like the amber DRLs of the Raptor headlights. I originally was going to go with a competitor’s lighted Bronco badge, but when I saw this was the only Ford licensed Bronco badge and it could be either white or amber. I didn’t hesitate. Upon receipt I compared the font to the original letters on my grille. They are an exact match. The install was absolutely one of the easiest I have encountered. I think from start to finish I had everything installed in less than 2 hours. At the same time I replaced my Bronco’s original grille with a body color painted grille, as well as the OEM headlights with an aftermarket set which could be set to amber rings and bars. The combination is absolutely perfect. The included wiring harness allows the badge to light with the ignition switch. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to elevate the face of their Bronco.
I love the installed emblem! Installation wasn’t difficult, with two exceptions. 1. The connectors were very difficult to connect, meaning I had to push very hard, which seemed to damage the pins. I feel like if I were to pull them apart, they wouldn’t work again. 2. The instructions told me to use the included fuse tap in a specific location, but there was no fuse or pins at that locations. I had to improvise, which wasn’t as easy as it used to be. Again, I love the emblem once installed.

These look S I C K in person, my video does not do justice… But I need to return the other cheap set I bought originally … they are garbage.

Installation takes much less then what I anticipated… but just remember to re-plug the fuse that you are removing!
Installation is much easier than expected tbh, I did it without removing the lower grill portion and flares in less 30 minutes…
My wife now wants a lighted emblem for her Explorer… smh. The low dim is nice but BRIGHT Amber or White is where is at! I am going to run a wire to a switch so I can swap colors on the go.
