Upgrade your trucks versatility with the Putco Tec Side Rails with t-slot channel and combine it with the Rhino Rack Vortex cross bar rack kit. This kit has dual T-Slot channel black truck side bed rails combined with the adjustable, lockable, and removable Rhino Rack aero cross bars. These bed rails attach to your truck’s stake pocket holes with no drilling and the Vortex rack is attached, adjusted, or removed quickly with just a screwdriver. The side bed rails with t-slots are constructed out of black powder-coated 6063 aluminum that will give your truck an upgrade in style and function. Perfect setup for easily hauling your bike, skis, fishing roads, boards, and even kayaks. Plus you can also attach a rack basket to haul even more gear for your next around town or outdoor adventure.
The Rhino-Rack bars can be easily removed when you need to haul larger items. The Locker rails tie-down strength is 500 pounds per end for a total of 1,000 lbs. For hauling cargo on the cross bars, the capacity is 500lbs static and 220lbs when you are going down the road to the lake or where ever you are traveling. Plus this design works great with soft roll-up style tonneau covers that mount to the inside of your truck’s cargo box.

The t-slot side truck bed rails come with everything you need to install onto your pickup truck. They are a no-drill, bolt-on installation (most models) and come with instructions and all the needed hardware. (Drilling is required if your pickup doesn’t have stake pocket holes. The cross bar rack kit easily attaches to your t-slotted bed rails. Attach the feet to the t-channel rails and bolt in a position you prefer. Then attach the crossbars and center on the uprights and bolt that into place. Plan about 15 to 25 minutes depending on your skill level. It’s a clamp-on installation. Easy install, feels burly, works great to carry bikes and kayaks above truck bed tonneau roll-up cover when towing a travel trailer. This allows me to haul generators, other cargo protected in my truck bed when we take the trailer and bikes/kayaks. Added bonus, since I am only 5′ 5″ tall, the Tec-rails allow me to grab on and step up on the back wheel of my truck to access truck bed from the sides. This is a bomber system and glad I bought it. Was considering a retractable tonneau with t-slot tracks to get the same carry set-up, but this ended up being $1,200 less and gives me more storage in the truck bed since there is no canister from the retractable tonneau.

The tec rails mount into the stake pocket they are unable to mount into a tonneau t-slot.
