Do I need the Aluminum 50W or the Ceramic 25W?
For optimal results, we recommend using our aluminum 50W load resistor for dual filament bulb types, such as 3157, 1157, and 7443. For single-filament LED bulbs, such as 1156, 3156, and 7440, we recommend the ceramic 25W version.
However, if uncertainty persists, opting for the aluminum version is a prudent choice. This version effectively combines resistance, wattage, and voltage conversion, making it the widely preferred load resistor in automotive applications.
