Q: Will the 60″ Tailgate Lightbar Fit My RAM Truck?
A: Yes — both our 60″ Blade and Freedom Blade tailgate lightbars have been tested and confirmed to fit 2019+ RAM trucks.
Q: My truck has a wiring harness in the center above my license plate.
A: Both our 60″ Freedom Blade and Blade are designed to mount just beneath that wiring harness, maintaining proper visibility while ensuring a clean and functional installation.
Q: Is a Split 18″ Option Available for 2025+ RAM Trucks?
A: Currently, we do not offer a split 18″ option for 2025+ RAM trucks. Due to changes in RAM’s electrical system, we were required to develop a new driver module and updated wiring harnesses specifically designed for these applications.
Q: Will the Lightbar Obstruct the Spare Tire Access Opening?
A: The lightbar may partially cover the spare tire access opening. However, it has been designed to securely clip into the mounting brackets, allowing it to be easily removed when needed to access the spare tire.
Trailer-Related Dashboard Warning on 2025+ RAM Trucks
Starting with the 2025 model year, updates to RAM’s electrical system required the development of a new quick-connect harness that integrates directly with the taillights rather than the trailer harness. Additionally, a power relay harness was introduced, which routes from the battery and fuse box to ensure proper functionality.
Due to these changes, the driver module and wiring configuration were also redesigned. As a result, it is important to use the correct, updated kit to ensure proper operation of the lightbar on 2025+ RAM trucks.
Driver-Side Taillight Turning Off on 2025+ RAM Trucks
This condition is typically caused by the power relay harness not being installed correctly. Please verify that both fuses are properly seated in the fuse tap and that the power wire is securely connected to the driver control box.
If these connections are not properly established, the vehicle’s computer may interpret the issue as an electrical fault and automatically disable the driver-side taillight as a protective measure.
